Monday February 11 is the date of my first WLE day. For my first day, I requested that my mentor, Fillmore, give me a break down, or "overview", of what his job description entailed. He stated that he was a consultant, which again he stated, could describe a lot of different things. The basic jist of what it is he does is that once a potential client tries all of the standard methods, mainstream psychologists, regularly used options, and the like, they call Fillmore. Fillmore has a Masters in psychology, worked in therapy, and has extensive knowledge in hawaiian, african, and asian mental healing techniques. Having studied and lived in different countries, Fillmore has had years of experience in psychoanalysis.
The apartment/environment was pretty laid back. It was casual and cool. Fillmore was the only one there. He stated before that it was pretty much a one man job. The environment was very homey with artwork and the like hung on was. There were some drums and bongos and a computer. It was chill. Because its his house, I'm not really going to go into detail. It was cool, I'm looking forward to next Monday where I get to sit in on session.

WLE
First day-
I failed to contact my mentor in a timely matter so unfortunately I did not begin my internship on Monday, February 4th as planned. It turns out that I had the wrong email address and I was to lazy to call him over the phone, so I spent the day with Emerson, Calvin, Ismeal, and Scott helping them on their quest to find an internship spot. It was pretty fun despite all of the walking. The spots we hit were Sega, Ubisoft, Adobe, and maybe a few I don't remember. We finished around 3:30 and I subsequently went home. I have the information I was missing on Monday and I contacted my mentor yesterday. I look forward to beginning my internship.
The internship I have is at a place called Berimbu Consulting, although I don't know much about it, I do know that its pretty much a one man business. My mentor's name is Fillmore Steel, I'm not sure if thats how you spell his name, but despite my hideous spelling I've tried my best. From what I understand, Fillmore is a kind of physiological healer. Having studied various ways of healing with an emphasis on techniques derived from non western countries, from what my father says he is proficient at what he does. I look forward to learning from him.
